A simple observation turned poemish.
Look out the window
Look past the trees
Look straight, lower your eyes
Look through the trees
Look at the early morning sky
Look, the early morning sky is white at this predawn hour
Now,
Look up to the highest branches
Look at the crescent moon shining
Look out the window
What do you see?
I finally read the picture book Windows this weekend and that’s what your poems reminds me of. A great invitation for journal time this week?

Thank you for including your drawing with the poem. The combination of your words and sketch help me to appreciate the need to look mmore often!

My slice is poem-ish today, too!
Thanks for encouraging me to take another look out of my window. It’s pretty out there today with the snow falling.

I like your message in a poemish form. Looking up I saw the sun in a blue sky today – a rare sight in winter.
